We are currently seeking a dependable, organized, and enthusiastic Scheduling Coordinator to join our Rochelle Park, New Jersey office. Position Overview The Scheduling Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless delivery of home care services by efficiently coordinating caregiver schedules. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, proficiency with scheduling systems, and a proactive approach to resolving scheduling challenges while maintaining the highest standards of client care. The salary for this full-time position ranges from $60,000 to $70,000,commensurate with related experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of scheduling or coordination experience, preferably in home care or a healthcare setting
  • Experience using scheduling software and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and assign caregivers to client visits and shifts based on client needs and caregiver availability
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date caregiver schedules within the scheduling system
  • Manage scheduling requests, changes, and urgent coverage needs promptly and effectively
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for caregivers regarding scheduling questions and updates
  • Communicate schedule changes clearly and timely to caregivers and clients
  • Address and resolve scheduling conflicts in collaboration with senior scheduling staff or management
  • Ensure accurate documentation of caregiver assignments and client schedules
  • Provide ongoing support to caregivers and clients regarding scheduling-related inquiries
