Reporting to the QPC Program Manager and serving as a member of the QPC team, the Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling all appointments related to the Quality Parenting Center (QPC) program. This includes informational meetings with DCF, Family Time visits involving children, parents, and caregivers, and the planning of visit-related activities. The QPC is a community-based, supervised visitation program that uses a parent empowerment model to serve DCF-involved families whose children have been removed and placed in foster care or with relative/kinship caregivers. This position requires strong knowledge of child welfare/CPS practices, family dynamics, legal issues, and community support systems. The Scheduler is also required to participate in all DCF trainings related to the QPC model.
