Generous paid time off to support a work-life balance, including 6 paid holidays Tuition Reimbursement and professional development opportunities Retirement plan in the form of a 403 (b) with company match after longevity Flexible Spending Account and Dependent Care Account-allowing you to set aside pretax dollars to better care for your health and the health of your loved ones Free yearlong unlimited CDTA Navigator Pass including Free CDTA bike share program Employee Wellness Program Employee Assistance Program Employer paid Life Insurance What will you do as an Scheduling Coordinator II? · Schedule appointments and perform patient check‑in/check‑out · Maintain front‑desk flow and provide excellent customer service · Complete EMR tasks including scanning, preloading, messages, and document management · Manage prior authorizations, referrals, no‑show letters, disability paperwork, and workers’ compensation documentation · Perform COVID screening, daily mail handling, and cash reconciliation · Support clinical staff by obtaining records and prepping encounters · Ensure accurate patient registration, insurance verification, and demographic updates Assist with quality measures and other administrative duties assigned by the practice manager · Train and occasionally supervise staff; support practice-wide programs as needed · Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism while multitasking in a fast‑paced environment What do you need to be an Scheduling Coordinator II? High school diploma or equivalent (required) Minimum 2 years office experience ; healthcare office experience preferred Associate’s degree in a healthcare discipline with 3–5 years of experience (preferred) Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work with confidential information Proficiency with computer software and EMR systems Ability to adapt, float to other practices, and adjust work hours when needed PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The position is located indoors under normal working conditions. Should be able to push/pull 25 lbs., lift/move 15 lbs. from floor to table, be able to perform moderately difficult manual manipulations such as using a keyboard, writing and filing for extended periods of time, must be able to perform tasks which require hand-eye coordination such as data entry, typing and using photocopiers. Mobility requirements may include the ability to sit at a computer terminal or work station for a prolonged period of time in addition to being able to squat, stand and walk for a reasonable length of time and distance. Salary Range: $17.46-$25.32/hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
