About The Position

We are currently seeking a reliable and organized Part-Time Scheduler to join out team.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous scheduling or administrative experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain staff schedules
  • Ensure adequate coverage for all shifts
  • Communicate with staff regarding scheduling needs and changes
  • Assist with call-outs and last minute coverage
  • Support daily staffing operations as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of staff information, attendance, and scheduling changes within databases
  • Perform general office duties, such as answering phones, managing correspondence, and assisting with other administrative tasks as needed
  • Monitor staff availability, rack attendance and manage call-ins to ensure adequate staffing levels and coverage
  • Creatively addresses scheduling challenges, adapt to last-minute changes from call-ins or emergencies and assist with shift swaps
  • Assists the Director or designee in the recruiting, hiring, orientation and training of new employees
  • Uses limited independent judgement to make decisions based on precedents and established guidelines. Knows when to refer issues to supervisor
  • Encourages teamwork through cooperative interactions
