We are looking for an Aircraft Scheduler with some Flight Attendant responsibility who will join our Flight Department team in Columbus, Ohio. The Aircraft Scheduler is responsible for the scheduling, coordination, and management of private air travel itineraries for passengers, as well as the aviation team. This person ensures compliance with scheduling parameters for flight crews, maintains accurate records, and facilitates complete travel arrangements for passengers. The Flight Attendant duties, required 20-30% of the time, will be providing service on a mid-size corporate aircraft that travels to various domestic and international destinations. The flight attendant will be responsible for ensuring a five-star level service experience for the aircraft passengers as well as maintaining the safety responsibilities of the position. What you’ll do in these roles: Operate as a Part 91 Scheduler (Private Aircraft), responsible for receiving aircraft usage requests, and assembling itineraries in a scheduling system and aircraft calendar. In collaboration with the aviation team, develop and manage pilot and flight attendant schedules, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, flight time limitations, and company policies. Maintain accurate records of crew schedules, flight logs, training, and certifications. Communicate with aircraft requesters, providing trip sheets, adjusting accordingly, and providing final travel details. Interact regularly with executive leadership and Board of Directors to provide scheduling reports, updates, and recommendations. Address scheduling conflicts and issues in a timely and effective manner. Partner with the aviation department on determining appropriate FBO locations. Schedule travel arrangements for passengers and crew as needed, including ground transportation, hotel accommodations, and aircraft catering. Prepare monthly reports on aircraft usage and quarterly SFIL reports. Oversee reconciliation of fuel bills and other aircraft expenses; assisting as needed. Responsible for the welfare and safety of passengers on board the aircraft. Performs preflight and post-flights of cabin and galley equipment. Responsible for ensuring the company's goals for safety, security and quality are met. Ability to operate all entertainment systems and equipment on board the aircraft as well as perform basic troubleshooting. Coordination with other crew members and scheduling personnel to review trip details. What you’ll need to be successful: Proven experience in aircraft scheduling, private aircraft (Part 91) preferred Experience utilizing MySky software preferred Knowledge of FAA regulations and flight time limitations Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines FACTS, Flight Safety or equivalent FAA certified training program preferred Ability to work effectively as part of a crew Knowledgeable with safe food handling procedures First Aid training required to respond to in-flight medical situations Certified to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and in the usage of an automated external defibrillator (AED) Proficient with all aircraft emergency equipment and knowledge of emergency procedures Strong culinary/fine dining experience preferred Flexibility to work a varied and changing work schedule requiring occasional weekend and holiday workdays The starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $77,200.00 - $90,800.00 per year. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.In addition to the determined base salary, this role is also incentive eligible under our corporate bonus programs.For remote roles where the final candidate resides in Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Oregon or Washington, state required pay thresholds will be factored into base salary. Requirements
