About The Position

As a Scenario Desk Specialist, you will be responsible for being the first point of contact for brokers and internal teams and providing expert guidance on DSCR loan scenarios. This role evaluates deal structures, reviews borrower and property eligibility, and ensures loans comply with program guidelines before submission. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams, aligning loan deals with client needs and company objectives while ensuring the integrity of our lending practices.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of DSCR calculations, rental income analysis, and LTV limits
• Familiarity with investor guidelines and property eligibility
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with loan origination systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Review DSCR, LTV, credit, and rental income to determine eligibility
• Advise brokers and loan officers on loan adjustments to meet guidelines
• Serve as the subject matter expert on DSCR lending programs
• Respond quickly to broker inquiries and provide actionable deal feedback
• Screen deals to reduce underwriting issues and improve pipeline quality
• Work closely with underwriting, secondary, and production teams
