About The Position

Banesco USA is seeking an SBA Loan Collateral Specialist for our SBA Operations Business Unit.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of technical experience in loan operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all internal business partners and external customers.
• Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to perform independently in setting objectives and determining how to proceed.
• Must be detail-oriented, and able to multi-task handling several different tasks and issues at the same time
• Intermediate understanding of commercial loan structures.
• Ability to research moderately complex issues.
• Working knowledge of federal and state compliance laws and regulations including a proven ability to apply these requirements to business practices and systems.
• Environmental/physical demands: standard office environment; team members must be able to operate standard office equipment such as PC, printer, fax/copier, and telephone.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate completion of all insurance related items.
• Verify notifications are sent to customers, coverage is adequate, and CORE system is updated.
• Insurance related maintenance and collateral support.
• Responsible for completing the annual training program assigned.
• Performs other functions and/or duties as assigned.
