Operate Baca Robo Saw to cut to shop drawings and specified layouts. Operating profiling machines to shape and polish specified edge details Safely cut and polish sink holes to templates Use tools to safely grind and polish edges with portable power tools Fill small chips and perform touch ups Self inspect work upon completion Responsible to meet quality expectations set forth by Management for all work performed. Responsible to meet production expectations set forth by Management for all work performed. Responsible coordinate with the Supervisor for all issues regarding any discrepancies or mistakes.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Must have the ability to read and work from shop drawings and diagrams created manually or from a CAD program
Ability to follow directions and coordinate with other workers in the shop, thus upgrading the skills and performance individually and as a team within the shop
Works well under pressure and meets deadlines
Experience with proper and safe use of all machinery and tools utilized in granite fabrication
Skilled craftsman with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Fantastic organizational and time management skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds at a time
Must be able to frequently stand for long periods of time
Must be able to occasionally climb stairs

Nice To Haves

Preferred 2 years Stone Sawyer/Machine Operator experience
CNC Stone Machine Operator experience a plus

Responsibilities

Operate Baca Robo Saw to cut to shop drawings and specified layouts.
