Here at Gulfeagle we are "Building a Career for YOU" Saw Catcher Role Description: This role will be responsible for stacking and marking truss components as they come out of the saw. The wood truss components will be stacked in a specified manner and order, usually on rolling carts that will be sent out to the production floor.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
Good customer service skills

Responsibilities

Mark cut pieces of wood as they exit the saw, either with printed labels or manually labeling with specified job information.
Keep work area neat, clean, free from any possible hazards or debris.
Assist table personnel in finding components or re-cutting materials as necessary.
Always adhere to company safety procedures, wearing required PPE while in plant area.
Operate in all facets with a high degree of customer service and attentiveness to other truss team members.
Work in open warehouse atmosphere with conditions similar to outdoors.
Any other tasks or projects as assigned by management
