Requirements

Material handling & product inspection experience preferred.
Powered industrial vehicle experience preferred.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Computer skills preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to interact with customers, co-workers, and managers in a professional and courteous manner.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines with quality production.
Ability to work within safety rules/guidelines that are established by GPI
Sitting or standing for extended periods of time up to 12-hours.
Awkward and/or repetitive movements.
Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
Use of various hand and electrical tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

Inspect finished product for defects according to customer/quality specifications.
Pack & label boxes of finished product according to customer/quality specifications.
Assisting the operator with general duties such as roll loading, threading of the paper board into the former, line clearance, etc as needed to keep the former producing a good, quality product for the customer.
Palletize boxes of finished product according to customer/quality specifications.
Completing required paperwork to accompany each job as well as labor reporting forms.
Other duties as assigned by the operator
