Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a sauté cook or in a similar line cook position.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, especially sautéing.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Familiarity with kitchen safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification a plus).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare all menu items assigned to the sauté station in accordance with recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
- Operate sauté pans, burners, and other kitchen equipment with precision and care.
- Maintain a clean and organized station at all times.
- Monitor food quality and freshness to ensure top-tier execution.
- Communicate clearly with other line cooks, prep cooks, and chefs to coordinate service.
- Adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with prep work, receiving deliveries, and kitchen cleaning as needed.
- Follow all kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards.
