Requirements

Previous experience working a sauté station in a full-service, chef-driven restaurant.
Strong knife skills, cooking techniques, and ability to work cleanly and efficiently.
Ability to handle high-pressure, fast-paced service while maintaining composure.
A passion for food, a strong work ethic, and commitment to quality.
Team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
Eagerness to learn, grow, and refine your craft.
Proven experience as a sauté cook or similar role in a professional kitchen.
Knowledge of sauté techniques and the ability to handle various ingredients effectively.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including sauté pans, induction burners, and other tools.
Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
Strong multitasking and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Team player with good communication skills.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy pots and pans.
Experience through on-the-job training and apprenticeships in professional kitchen required

Nice To Haves

A formal culinary education or relevant culinary certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

Master the sauté station, ensuring dishes are cooked to perfection with proper techniques.
Execute high-volume service efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency.
Work with fresh, seasonal ingredients, preparing sauces, proteins, and composed dishes.
Follow all recipes, portioning guidelines, and plating standards for a seamless guest experience.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked station throughout service.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen team, working in sync with expeditors and fellow cooks.
Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols to uphold our commitment to excellence.
