In this role, you will identify and define user/customer requirements, focusing on developing user interfaces (UI) across various platforms such as mobile, web, and tablets. You will be responsible for creating software components and services that interact seamlessly with upstream and downstream components, ensuring that business requirements are met through effective coding and programming.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree (4-year degree).
  • Typically, no less than 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP development and SAP programming.
  • Strong expertise in ABAP, including object-oriented programming, modularization techniques, and debugging/troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience designing, developing, and enhancing ABAP objects such as reports, interfaces, forms, enhancements, and data dictionary objects (tables, views, data elements).
  • Proficiency in SAP Fiori/UI5, including integration with ABAP back-end services.
  • Experience developing and consuming SAP Web Services and OData services for system integration.
  • Working knowledge of SAP platforms and modules, including SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC, and their integration with ABAP solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices in ABAP development environment.
  • Knowledge of database management systems and data modeling concepts relevant to ABAP development.
  • Exposure to SAP technologies such as XI/PI/PO, Solution Manager, SAP LT, Data Services, and SAP Security.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client service, presentation, and technical documentation.
  • A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.

  • The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $102,500 to $187,900.
  • The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $122,900 to $213,400.
  • Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
  • In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.

  • Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
