About The Position

CGI is seeking a high-potential and skilled SAP S/4HANA Testing/Functional Consultant with experience in SAP ECC or S/4HANA. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with our clients to understand their requirements, designing and presenting solutions, testing SAP and completing the full software lifecycle. The primary focus is on testing and validating the solution in SAP S/4HANA, Public Sector. This role requires a broad understanding of SAP Federal Financial Accounting processes and solutions. This project is a fast-paced and dynamic environment that leverages areas such as Agile/Scrum methodology to build and test solutions based on customer requirements quickly.

Requirements

Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required as well as successful passing of CGI background check prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance.
SAP experience is Required.
1+ years of SAP functional testing experience, ideally supporting financial implementations.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
Experience in integration, configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP Application areas such as Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Financial Accounting (FI), Cost Management (CO) and/or Funds Management (FM).
Experience in financial management best practices, including demos and test scripts.
Knowledge of key integration points between SAP modules.
Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork and facilitation.
Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations.

Nice To Haves

Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
Experience using SAP Activate methodology.
Experience with automated testing solutions such as Tricentis, UiPath, SAP Change Impact Analysis, SAP Focused Build, and/or SAP Enterprise Performance Testing.

Responsibilities

The Consultant participates in Agile teams responsible for designing, testing, implementing and supporting SAP Financials.
Design, develop, and execute detailed test scripts to support multiple testing phases, including system test, user acceptance test, and functional validation test.
Design, configuration and testing of FI, CO, FM/GL, SD, MM and/or AA modules to include unit, system and QA testing.
Enhance the client's business functionality and overall performance while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.
Acts as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigates, analyzes and solves software problems and maps client business requirements, processes, and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
Responsible primarily for the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA, including providing functional guidance, presentation and instruction on SAP products to clients.
