About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA Developer to support a critical modernization initiative for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This role will be instrumental in delivering a stable, scalable, and well-documented SAP S/4HANA Customer Management (CM) solution as part of the agency’s transition from SAP CRM. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience in Brownfield migrations, custom development, and Fiori enablement, with a deep understanding of governance and change management best practices in complex federal environments. Perform Brownfield migration activities, including technical migration of development objects and configurations across the SAP landscape. Optimize legacy code for compatibility and performance within the S/4HANA environment. Conduct impact analysis, code remediation, testing, and deployment support. Fiori Enablement Enable and deploy SAP Fiori applications. Design and configure Spaces, Pages, and Catalogs. Collaborate with Security and Functional teams to ensure successful Fiori deployment and role-based access controls. Governance & Best Practices Apply best practices in Change Management, Release Management, and Configuration Management. Ensure thorough documentation to mitigate migration risk and support long-term sustainability. Support testing, defect resolution, and production readiness activities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, OR High School diploma with 9 years of relevant experience
Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA Brownfield migration experience
Strong technical experience with the SAP S/4HANA technical suite
Demonstrated experience transitioning SAP CRM custom code to S/4HANA CM
Solid understanding of Greenfield vs. Brownfield development strategies
Experience working within structured governance frameworks
Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card Holder
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance

Nice To Haves

Prior experience supporting CDC or other Federal Government programs
Active CDC Clearance
Experience working in highly regulated or public-sector environments
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
