About The Position

We are seeking a CPA on a contract basis for our manufacturing client to support an ERP implementation. This role will work with the program team to lead accounting design, controls documentation, and finance testing activities throughout the implementation. The position requires 5 days onsite in Joplin, MO and will be a 15‑month contract.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
CPA required
5+ years of relevant SAP S/4HANA implementation experience
Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

Support accounting design activities including chart of accounts mapping, data conversion support, and financial data validation
Lead finance user acceptance testing across AP, AR, GL, and cost accounting within the ERP environment
Develop and update internal controls documentation and support period‑end close process redesign
Assist with post‑go‑live stabilization, ensuring finance processes operate effectively and as intended
