About The Position

CTG is hiring a SAP S/4HANA Security Consultant to support a high-impact S/4HANA upgrade initiative. This is a client-facing role where you’ll lead security design, implementation, and risk management across SAP environments. Location: Prefer candidates local to San Francisco, CA. If not local, travel will be required for a few weeks or on alternating weeks. Duration: 6 months

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA security
Expertise in roles and authorizations (PFCG), Fiori security, and SAP GRC
Experience with SSO, SAML, LDAP, and identity/access management integrations
Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR)
Proven ability to assess and mitigate security risks in enterprise SAP landscapes
Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience
5+ years of SAP security experience, including S/4HANA projects
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Responsibilities

Lead SAP S/4HANA and HANA security efforts for an active upgrade project
Conduct security assessments, risk analysis, and remediation planning
Design and implement secure SAP architectures (roles, authorizations, encryption, access controls)
Configure authentication, authorization, and auditing within SAP HANA
Implement data protection strategies including masking and anonymization
Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define and deliver security solutions
Support production security operations, including issue resolution and compliance adherence
Maintain documentation and stay current on SAP security best practices
