About The Position

The SAP LE Functional Analyst (SAP Logistics Execution) plays a critical role in optimizing Applied Medical's global supply chain operations through innovative systems design and process improvement. As part of the Corporate Applications team, this position works fully onsite and collaborates across departments to enhance logistics execution processes within SAP, including shipping, warehouse management, and inventory control. The role supports business and systems integration that drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enable operational excellence across Applied Medical's worldwide operations. This position is ideal for an experienced SAP logistics analyst, SAP WM functional consultant, or SAP supply chain systems specialist seeking to make a tangible impact in healthcare manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in computer science, information systems, operations management, or business administration.
  • A minimum of six years of hands-on experience implementing and configuring SAP Logistics Execution (LE) and SAP Warehouse Management (WM) modules in a functional technical capacity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a structured approach to troubleshooting.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills with the ability to interface across departments and functional areas.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general knowledge of systems project lifecycle.
  • Solid technical writing skills for documenting functional and validation deliverables.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and S/4HANA environments.
  • Familiarity with ShipERP App integration and configuration.
  • Certification in SAP Logistics Execution or Warehouse Management.
  • Experience with software validation in a regulated environment such as medical device or life sciences.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement, Lean methodologies, or ISO 13485 standards.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document business workflows across Logistics, Operations, and Quality teams to define requirements for SAP Logistics Execution and Warehouse Management modules.
  • Configure and support SAP systems by implementing, testing, and optimizing Logistics Execution (LE), Warehouse Management (WM), and related modules to improve end-to-end supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, validate, and deliver system solutions that align with business objectives and operational needs.
  • Participate in software validation activities to ensure system reliability, regulatory compliance, and alignment with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain documentation including functional specifications, validation records, and user training materials for SAP modules and business processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing data, identifying process gaps, and recommending enhancements to systems and workflows.
  • Coordinate multiple projects and timelines by partnering with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure timely and successful solution delivery.
