About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative SAP Payroll Systems Analyst to support and enhance our SAP SuccessFactors payroll environment. Reporting to the HCM Technology Manager, this role is responsible for analyzing business needs, configuring payroll solutions, supporting system integrations, and ensuring payroll accuracy across weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll cycles. This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate, sustainable payroll operations while partnering closely with Payroll, Finance, and HR teams to deliver system improvements, troubleshoot issues, and support year-end HR initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking, technical aptitude, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting SAP systems, preferably SuccessFactors PCC and/or SAP Employee Central Payroll
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle concepts
  • Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders across multiple organizational levels

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience with at least one SAP SuccessFactors module
  • Basic knowledge of SAP integrations (Integration Center, Point-to-Point Replication)
  • Familiarity with HR year-end processes such as W-2, HRSP, 1095-C, and benefits processing

Responsibilities

  • Configure and provide technical support for SAP SuccessFactors Payroll Control Centre (PCC) and SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP)
  • Produce and document business requirements and functional specifications
  • Design, configure, and test payroll solutions from prototype through production
  • Support production and integration issues related to payroll, taxes, garnishments, time management, benefits, bonuses, and retirement programs (401k)
  • Perform system integration testing and develop user acceptance test (UAT) scripts
  • Coordinate testing activities with business partners and stakeholders
  • Document current workflows and recommend process improvements
  • Conduct gap analysis and support payroll process enhancements
  • Troubleshoot break-fix incidents and provide timely resolution
  • Partner with Payroll, HR, and Finance teams to prioritize projects and enhancements while ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines
