About The Position

Join a leading global consultancy focused on driving digital transformation through innovative technology solutions. We are seeking a results-oriented SAP Basis Specialist to help design, build, and continuously improve our clients' online platforms and mission-critical SAP landscapes. As a key member of our technical team, you will take full responsibility for the resiliency and availability of enterprise products. You will research, suggest, and implement cutting-edge technology solutions following industry best practices and standards. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can maintain high performance in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • SAP Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP Basis and SAP S/4HANA systems, including hands-on experience with R/3, HANA, BW, and EWM functionalities.
  • Cloud & Migration: Proven experience in cloud migrations for SAP environments and hands-on expertise in SAP ECC to HANA database migrations.
  • OS & Database: Proficient in SAP HANA Database, SLT, and NetWeaver Gateway setup; experience in RHEL migration and Linux-based SAP landscapes.
  • Project Planning: Ability to conduct both high-level and detailed project planning for assigned technical activities.
  • Change Management: Skilled in managing change requests, technical documentation, and version control.
  • Customer Focus: Effective client-facing communication skills with a strong emphasis on understanding and meeting client needs.
  • Ownership: Demonstrates initiative and a "take-charge" attitude toward technical challenges.
  • Collaboration: A productive team player comfortable working within Agile/Sprint frameworks.
  • Agility: Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Platform Architecture: Design and build resilient online platforms, ensuring consistent architecture and interface alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Landscape Management: Ensure production landscape availability through proactive maintenance, regular system checks, and Kernel/Release upgrades.
  • Execution & Delivery: Define and execute activities in accordance with project RUN books and guidelines, delivering Lifecycle Management (LCM) components incrementally.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders during program increment events to refine product backlogs and ensure technical solutions align with business needs.
  • Support & Documentation: Provide go-live support and knowledge transfer to operations teams; manage change requests and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to optimize technical solutions and internal team processes.
