About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Sales and Distribution solutions in a large-scale, manufacturing-focused environment. As a SAP Architect, you will serve as a key technical and functional consultant, translating complex business requirements into scalable SAP solutions that improve operational efficiency and enhance customer experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, guide technical resources, and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules while supporting ongoing process improvements. This position provides visibility across the organization, requiring both strategic vision and hands-on expertise. You will operate in a dynamic, evolving environment where innovation, problem-solving, and technical leadership are critical to success.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience supporting SAP ERP, specifically Sales and Distribution modules
  • Strong knowledge of SD configuration and integration points with CRM, PP, MM, and FI/CO modules
  • Hands-on experience with master data, pricing, sales documents, order management, shipping, contracts, credit management, IDOCs, and EDI
  • Proven track record in blueprinting workshops, Fit/Gap analysis, and functional specifications
  • Experience with S/4HANA implementations, end-user testing, training documentation, and hypercare support
  • Familiarity with IT change/release processes and ServiceNow workflows
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while driving process adherence and data quality
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field; SAP Certification in S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition preferred
  • Innovative and collaborative mindset to develop and implement improvement initiatives across functions

Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) implementations and configurations to meet business requirements
  • Guide ABAP and technical teams on functional specifications and RICEFW objects
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and end-users to capture functional requirements and translate them into SAP solutions
  • Design and develop interfaces and conversion programs from legacy systems
  • Produce detailed system documentation, test scripts, and presentations
  • Support cutover activities, end-user testing, training, and hypercare post-implementation
  • Define and implement best practices, solution demonstrations, and functional configurations
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with internal controls
