A day in the life… As a Sanitation Employee , you will engage in continuous learning, tackle new challenges, and maintain a strong attention to detail. Your responsibilities will include breaking down and sanitizing machinery, ensuring that all allergens are thoroughly cleaned from designated areas, and performing general sanitation of plant equipment. The ideal candidate for this position possesses a passion for cleanliness and enjoys being active while working. Your dedication is essential in upholding our commitment to a safe and sanitary environment. What you will be doing… Disassembles and/or cleans and sanitizes equipment per RSC guidelines to ensure FDA standards are maintained in the plant. Requests, receives, delivers, secures, and maintains products and materials required to do the job. Operates and maintains machinery, equipment, and tools in a safe and proficient manner according to guidelines, standards, and instructions. Reads and understand sanitation specifications established by RSC and follows those specifications with supervision. Performs other clean-up activities assigned by the supervisor. Conforms to rules. Reassembles plant machinery to prepare for each day’s production. Ensures plant floor is 5S compliant before each production day. Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure product quality and maintain compliance with food safety standards. Completes and follows FSQA training and programs to comply with regulatory requirements, ensure consumer safety, and support the plant’s food safety and quality objectives. Promptly reports and takes appropriate action on any observed or potential food safety hazards, process deviations, or non-conformities by notifying the designated plant supervisor, in accordance with your role and responsibilities. Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of the company’s Food Safety Culture through engagement and actions aligned with your role.
