About The Position

Our Sanitation Techs are a cornerstone to our success as a plant--both to ensure a safe & clean facility, but also for the advancement of our processes and pushing benchmarks for our Master Sanitation schedule. While this role requires basic cleaning procedures and common plant auditing, ideal candidates will succeed on our team if they enjoy variety and are driven by a sense of accomplishment. We are also looking for team members who bring an open mind for learning and continuous improvement. At Nature’s Path Foods, sanitation is critical to producing safe, high-quality organic food. We’re looking for a Sanitation Technician who takes pride in keeping a clean, safe, and audit-ready facility. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a food manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to become certified on scissor lifts and boom trucks.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written).
  • Team-oriented mindset with a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Follow GMPs, SSOPs, and sanitation procedures to ensure food safety and compliance.
  • Clean and sanitize plant equipment and production areas.
  • Support production teams to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor wastewater production and support reduction initiatives.
  • Execute pest management tasks as part of the Pest Management Action Plan.
  • Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement activities.
  • Handle cardboard, trash, plastic, and wastewater removal.
  • Operate scissor lifts and boom lifts (certification required; up to 30 ft).
