Position Summary: As a Sanitation Technician you will, with minimal supervision, clean and assist in cleaning walls, rooms, surfaces and specific equipment in Production areas including the halls of Production. Maintain department area cleanliness and ensure staging areas are organized, safe, and clean.

Requirements

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to understand written and spoken information in English in work related documents, trainings, and day to day operations.
• Ability to communicate clearly, professionally and effectively.
• Position is in a production environment.
• Position will require entry to GMP and controlled areas with specific dress code requirements.
• Position will require significant walking, standing and reaching.
• Able to lift 25-50 lbs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• This position requires strenuous physical activity throughout the day.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Physical ability to stand and walk frequently.
• Physical ability to occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Responsibilities

• Maintain visitor-ready work environment ensuring Production, wash room, and areas surrounding Production are organized, safe and clean.
• Understand and routinely adhere to Standard Operating Procedures
• Participate in the development and improvement of Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure all production and packaging utensils, blending and storage containers are washed, clean.
• Restock all clean and dry utensils, blending and storage containers are restocked in designated areas in production.
• Clean production floors, walls, ceilings, windows, surfaces and assigned equipment ensuring documentation is up to date on all cleaning logs.
• Empty and dispose of all trash in production areas.
• Take directions from Production Tech III, Production Supervisors/Managers, and QA.
• Notifies Production Supervisors/Manager, QA, and/or Production Support Tech III with any concerns regarding the possibility of nonconforming product or environment.
