About The Position

As a Sanitation Team Member, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facility. Your focus will be on keeping clean and compliant warehouses and office areas, while ensuring proper chemical usage and adherence to sanitation practices. Your work helps us maintain the highest standards for food safety and quality, ensuring our operations run smoothly and our customers remain safe. What does your day look like? Some of your duties may include:

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Carry up to 50 lbs. Push/Pull up to 30 lbs. of force.
• Must be able to be exposed to a refrigerated and freezer environment, ranging from 0 - 36 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Able to work in cold environment for an extended period of time, steel-toe shoes are required.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to follow directions and meet deadlines and be able to work under minimal supervision.
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to reach bend

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse and/or cold storage experience
• Previous food-grade warehouse sanitation/janitorial experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the warehouse and offices
• Ensure that all scheduled sanitation duties are completed correctly and on time following master sanitation schedule.
• Ensure all cleaning chemicals are used, labeled, and stored correctly in compliance with Safety Data Sheets.
• Maintain the safety, quality, and legality of food products.
