About The Position

GLISS Staffing is hiring experienced Sanitation Associates for a food production facility.Temp to hire opportunity with daily overtime & 3 - 4 work day weeks.

Requirements

Experience in food production sanitation or janitorial.
Learn & understand Allergens & follow GMP, SQF, HAACP, BBP and Food Defense policies.
Ability to learn and adapt to new procedures quickly & efficiently.
Able to work in a team environment & independently.
Ability to speak & read English.

Responsibilities

Maintain work areas, equipment and tools in clean & good condition.
Washes and sanitizes equipment like; pots, pans, buckets and trays by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor for dish washing machine.
Assist with the breakdown and reassembly of equipment for deep cleaning like; manufacturing lines, parts and equipment & keep parts organized by machine.
Keep walkways cleared, sweep and mop floors.
Follow established cleaning procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, follow and improve area processes, understanding and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that pertain to the work area/duties.
Properly dispose of waste and handle chemical cleaning agents safely.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and report any issues or maintenance needs.
Work closely with the production team to ensure a sanitary environment.
