About The Position

This position will assist in directing the work of the Sanitation personnel alongside the Sanitation Supervisor. To achieve a clean plant for safe working conditions as well as ensuring the safe production of a quality product processed in accordance with mandated and established company procedures.

Requirements

Minimum one year of directly related work experience.
Ability to work varied hours/days, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel & Outlook
Ability to be an effective communicator
Ability to manage time and people

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in English and Spanish
Knowledge of industry related quality systems and inspection programs, cleaning systems and chemicals
Knowledge of the cleaning chemistry, chemical storage, handling and dispensing systems and sanitary design principles
Familiarity with USDA, OSHA, & HACCP (Company Training) regulations.

Responsibilities

Monitor the sanitation processes. Anticipate production/sanitation concerns and make effective decisions while striving for continuity of the production/sanitation process.
Demonstrate proficiency using each piece of equipment on the floor.
Complete daily reports as assigned, and in absence of Sanitation Supervisor.
Communicate with management on concerns or issues.
Delegate work and follow-up to ensure completion of.
Oversee and help in all work areas.
All other duties as assigned.
Assigns work, in absence of Sanitation Supervisor, ensures employees have what they need to get job done.
Provide guidance, training, and direction of personnel, when needed, to ensure compliance to Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory requirements.
Attend all Supervisory and Safety meetings at the designated times.
Comply with all and assist Sanitation Supervisor in ensuring team members compliance with all company policies.
