What You’ll Do Support sanitation execution, verification, and improvement across the production environment, working closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics teams on the floor to maintain sanitary conditions and protect product quality and food safety. This role includes hands-on sanitation work as well as inspection, documentation, and process improvement responsibilities. It is an individual contributor role with clear ownership and no direct reports. You will:

Requirements

  • Several years of hands-on sanitation experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Direct experience performing and verifying sanitation activities.
  • Working knowledge of sanitation fundamentals, GMPs, and basic food safety practices.
  • Ability to communicate expectations clearly and work collaboratively across teams without formal authority.
  • Comfort working on-site and performing physical sanitation-related tasks as required.
  • Hands-on sanitation experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with GMPs and standard sanitation practices.
  • Ability to follow and document standard procedures accurately and consistently.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in dietary supplement, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Experience using digital tools for sanitation tracking or documentation.
  • Exposure to food safety programs or FSMA concepts (formal certification not required).

Responsibilities

  • Execute and verify sanitation activities across the production environment.
  • Conduct sanitation inspections and audits with Quality and Maintenance; document findings and support corrective actions.
  • Develop, maintain, and update sanitation SOPs and related work instructions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams on the production floor to support sanitary conditions during staging, storage, loading, and unloading activities.
  • Identify sanitation issues early and escalate concerns that could impact food safety or compliance.
