About The Position

Responsible for breaking down equipment, cleaning, sanitizing work areas and setting up equipment for inspection and start-up, while also adhering to Core Safety, food safety policies, and company policies. Responsible for the dry pickup area and visually checking area for cleanliness. Must be willing and able to break down and set up equipment where needed. Must be willing and able to use high-pressure hose to rinse area and floor. Must be willing and able to use various chemicals to foam and scrub floor. Ability to work closely with Quality Assurance and USDA. Uphold the principals of SQF 2000. Work schedule will vary depending on production. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation . Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent. Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours. Must be willing and able to become certified in Tyson’s Lock Out/Tag Out program. Must be willing and able to pinch/grip product/equipment. Must be willing and able to become familiar with safe operation and use of high-pressure hoses and sanitation chemicals. Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
