Sample Coordinator
About The Position
Fabletics is looking for a Sample Coordinator. How Do You Fit In? As the Sample Coordinator for Women’s, you will work with the Production Team to manage TOP samples, Salesman Samples, other internal requests. You will be working closely with overseas vendors as well as our domestic sample room to request, track, and handoff samples to cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate for this role would be a deadline and results-driven person who is self-motivated and responsible with the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment. This is an in-person role that is positioned in the office. This position will report to the Sr. Manager, Production.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in the fashion industry, or strong internship experience, experience with samples preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be technically savvy, especially with Web Apps, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and Google Docs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and use a dolly for packages as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Receive packages to check-in, track, and organize various samples.
- Create shipments for samples and swatches for the team, ensuring that customs paperwork is accurate and complete.
- Request and distribute Salesman Samples from international vendors.
- Allocate the right quantities for timely distribution to multiple stakeholders, to support marketing activities, photoshoots, and executive try-on.
- Ensure all Salesman Samples are packaged and labeled correctly by the vendor.
- Scan samples into Shot Flow software to enable tracking for photoshoots.
- Maintain an organized shipment tracking chart available to cross-functional teams.
- Manage and organize TOP samples, maintaining the status and location of specific samples at any given time.
- Bubble any concerning TOP comments to the Director of Production, flagging any concerns to quality or construction.
- Gather sample requests for internal meetings.
- Manage when samples are ready to be packed and stored.
