Position Summary: Responsible for the execution of routine and non-routine warehouse and salvage activities. Duties include projects related to a variety of warehouse activities including, inventory control, space management, logistics of product distribution and day to day operations. The position is hands on warehouse work.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience
- Exceptional analytical, judgment, decision-making and communications skills
- Superior coaching, leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build understanding and concensus
- Ability to read and interpret hard data and metrics.
- Ability to write creatively and articulately with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and average. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra when working on spreadsheets. Ability to create and manage departmental budget.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel and PowerPoint.
- Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Salvage Supervisor.
- Forklift certification will be required.

Responsibilities
- When scheduled this person is responsible for opening or closing the store which includes access to the safe and alarms.
- Maintains an environment that fosters exceptional customer service to external as well as internal customers
- Keeps an organized, clean facility that excels in the storage and distribution of customer inventories
- Promotes a safe work environment for all employees insuring warehouse/salvage operations are in compliance with agency safety programs
- Plan and organize time and resources efficiently
- Promotes productivity by following up with employees on assigned tasks
- Insure all staff within the facility are safety trained and certified where necessary
- Assist in monitoring Outlet and Salvage employees
