About The Position

Essential Functions : (Other duties and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion) Plan and coordinate salvage pickups and deliveries Communicate with drivers and vendors to confirm schedules and address any issues. Optimize salvage operations by balancing cost, time, and resource availability. Develop and adjust routes based on changing needs. Serve as a point of contact for salvage partners, ensuring smooth communication and coordination. Collaborate with vendors, recycling centers, and retail stores to manage drop-offs or pickups. Address any logistical concerns or delays. Maintain accurate records of pickups, deliveries, and salvage materials. Ensure all salvage operations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures. Generate reports on salvage activities, efficiency, and cost savings. Identify areas for improvement in salvage logistics and propose solutions. Respond quickly to operational challenges, such as scheduling conflicts or transportation issues. Work closely with leadership to refine processes and improve overall salvage efficiency. · Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Two (2) years of experience in logistics, transportation, or salvage operations coordination preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Must be able to travel to all Goodwill of North GA locations as required
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including responding to urgent scheduling needs.
