  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years' continuous retail or customer service experience in a salon or spa required; experience in supervising and training staff highly preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing recognition, support, and motivation for Guest Care team members and students
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the school including opening and closing procedures, team behavior, and customer intake procedures
  • Serve as a role model by communicating and enforcing policies and procedures, safety and security standards, the code of conduct, and the dress code
  • Lead the Guest Care team in providing world class hospitality and maximizing school profit
  • Provide ongoing recognition, support, and motivation for team members
  • Engage with clients and provide exceptional experiences
  • Interview, hire, and train the Guest Care team in procedure, policy, and school flow
  • Schedule team to ensure adequate coverage for the school's needs
  • Resolve customer complaints and challenges and provide solutions for team disputes
  • Drive the initiative of asking every guest to leave a Google review, look over Google reviews daily, and connect with guests who may leave a review under 5 stars
  • Data management, appointment book management, inventory control, cost reduction, drive transactions for service and retail
  • Assist in initiatives to drive sales through coaching on sales techniques and strategies
  • Participate in Aveda and Nurtur corporate events including career fairs, marketing events, Earth Month, Beauty for a Cure, etc
