About The Position

At Gene Juarez, we believe that a positive guest experience has the power to transform someone's entire day. The Salon & Spa Coordinator is an integral part of this team effort, ensuring that each guest feels welcome through their in-person interactions and through providing consistent critical behind-the-scenes support. This position is part-time for our Silverdale location.

Requirements

  • Are age 18+
  • Have or are willing to obtain a Class 12 or 13 MAST Permit
  • Know how to anticipate the needs of guests and exceed expectations
  • Like to get stuff done and pivot in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pride themselves on detail and accuracy
  • Are resilient and able to respond professionally to situations in-the-moment
  • Thrive off organization, keeping things clean, and you're okay with a few repetitive tasks
  • Have a knack for learning about lots of changing products, services, and promotions quickly (and being able to implement this information)
  • Have a positive, can-do attitude
  • Open scheduling availability is a must.
  • This position involves a lot of being on your feet, whether that's standing or walking around.
  • We need you to be able to lift up to 35 lbs. without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • As part of our standard hiring process for new employees, employment with Gene Juarez Salons & Spas will be contingent upon successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist our guests.
  • Support our artists so they have what they need to provide the best experience.
  • Promote a warm, clean environment for our guests to enjoy.
  • Assist with replacement of retail stock and signage.
  • Engage with guests during check-out.
