About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Principal Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions. This role is responsible for defining architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving large transformation programs across multiple clouds and integrations.

Requirements

  • 12–18+ years of experience in enterprise technology, with 8+ years on Salesforce
  • Proven experience as a Lead/Principal Architect on large-scale Salesforce programs
  • Deep expertise across: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud
  • Integration patterns (REST, event-driven, MuleSoft)
  • Data architecture & governance
  • Strong understanding of: Enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF or similar)
  • Security, scalability, and performance design

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce Certifications: Certified Architect or multiple architect certifications
  • Application Architect & System Architect
  • Experience with: Salesforce Data Cloud
  • Industry Clouds (FSC etc.)
  • DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, GitHub Actions)
  • Exposure to AI/GenAI implementations within Salesforce ecosystem

Responsibilities

  • Define end-to-end Salesforce architecture across Sales, Service, Experience, Data Cloud, and Industry Clouds
  • Establish scalable, secure, and high-performing solution designs
  • Own architecture governance, standards, and best practices
  • Lead large, complex transformation programs (multi-org, multi-cloud)
  • Provide technical leadership across squads/teams
  • Ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability of solutions
  • Partner with C-level executives, business leaders, and IT stakeholders
  • Translate business strategy into technology roadmaps
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal leadership
  • Define API-led architecture (MuleSoft or similar)
  • Drive enterprise data strategy including MDM, Data Cloud, and analytics
  • Ensure seamless integration with external systems (ERP, data platforms, etc.)
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI (Agentforce, Einstein, GenAI)
  • Drive adoption of emerging Salesforce capabilities
  • Establish Center of Excellence (CoE) frameworks
  • Define DevOps, CI/CD, and release management strategies
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements
  • Support solutioning, proposals, and client pitches
  • Mentor architects and developers
  • Contribute to capability building and reusable assets
