About The Position

This role is for a Salesforce Integration Technical Lead focusing on building Salesforce-side integrations and working with central middleware like Boomi. The position requires strong knowledge of REST APIs, the ability to make decisions regarding real-time versus batch processing, and experience with data synchronization and ID management across systems. The lead will work independently on integrations while collaborating with the Salesforce lead, product owner, and Boomi engineer.

Requirements

• Proven experience building Salesforce-side integrations (Apex callouts, async processing, custom objects), not just UI or admin work
• Comfortable working with a central middleware (Boomi) and partnering with a middleware engineer rather than building point to point integrations
• Hands-on with inbound and outbound REST APIs, authentication, payload design, and error handling
• Able to clearly decide and explain what should be real time vs batch, based on business impact and performance
• Experience managing external IDs / foreign keys and bidirectional data synchronization across systems
