About The Position

GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Salesforce Administrator to support enterprise Salesforce environments. Candidates located in or near Columbus, Ohio are preferred, and this role offers the opportunity to work closely with users to enhance system usability, data quality, and overall platform effectiveness.. As a Senior Salesforce Administrator, you will be responsible for the daily administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of the Salesforce platform, ensuring system stability, data integrity, and an optimal end-user experience while supporting evolving business processes.

Requirements

  • Seven (7) years of relevant Salesforce administration experience.
  • Salesforce.com Administrator certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter with a proactive mindset.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud.
  • Experience with Salesforce Shield for enhanced security and compliance.
  • Experience using Copado for Salesforce DevOps and release management.
  • Experience with OwnBackup for Salesforce backups and data seeding.
  • Familiarity with Drawloop for document generation.
  • Experience with Metazoa Snapshot for Salesforce metadata management.
  • Experience with ezProtect or similar Salesforce security tools.
  • Strong work ethic with demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
  • Candidates located in or near Columbus, Ohio.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support Salesforce on a daily basis, including user setup, permission groups, licenses, and system access management.
  • Configure and customize Salesforce objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validations, and workflows to meet business needs.
  • Create and manage system changes without interruption to end users.
  • Modify and optimize the system to improve usability and business value.
  • Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve Salesforce data quality.
  • Create, maintain, and organize dashboards and reports, including report folder management.
  • Develop new business processes and associated reporting solutions.
  • Monitor and manage exception logs related to back-end integrations with Salesforce.
  • Communicate system enhancements, changes, and new features to users and stakeholders.
  • Monitor platform usage and mentor users or groups requiring additional assistance.
  • Document business processes, workflows, and system configurations.
  • Develop process documentation and detailed field maps.
  • Perform data imports and maintenance activities as required.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the end-user experience.
