As a Salesforce Administrator at Vanta, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our Salesforce ecosystem to support our presales motion and GTM operations. You'll work closely with Sales Development, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Data Analytics, Finance, and Sales leadership to ensure our lead routing, data management, and presales workflows run smoothly and scale efficiently. Our team leverages technology to streamline business processes, improve cross-functional collaboration, and provide insights that power smarter operations. We aim to build a robust, scalable, and user-friendly environment that supports Vanta’s continued growth through thoughtful and effective use of Salesforce and connected GTM tools. As a Salesforce Administrator, you will support the configuration and maintenance of our presales tech stack, manage user access and permissions, build automations, and ensure data integrity. You'll collaborate with a talented team of administrators, engineers, and analysts dedicated to leveraging technology for business success.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Salesforce administration experience building Flows, validation rules, and declarative automation
  • Hands-on experience with LeanData routing configuration and lead distribution workflows
  • Familiarity with sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach) and data enrichment tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, DemandTools, DupeBlocker)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail and proficiency in system integrations
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Self-starter with strong ownership mindset who thrives in fast-paced environments and drives creative solutions for continuous improvement
  • Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact

Responsibilities

  • Customize, maintain, and manage the Salesforce platform and integrated Go-To-Market tools to ensure alignment with and effective support for evolving business requirements.
  • Configure and maintain LeanData routing logic to ensure accurate and timely lead, contact, and account assignment to the right sales teams
  • Design, build, and implement custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and other configurations to support presales and GTM processes
  • Build and manage Salesforce Flows and automation to support data quality, presales workflows, and business requirements
  • Support integration projects with third-party applications including Outreach, ZoomInfo, and other GTM tools
  • Conduct regular system maintenance, including release updates, performance tuning, and platform optimization
  • Provide timely and effective troubleshooting for Salesforce and GTM tool issues, resolving technical problems to keep teams productive
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Data Analytics, Finance, and Sales leadership to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Act as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders by proactively identifying opportunities to improve user experience, demonstrating a customer-first mindset in delivering timely solutions that keep teams productive and drive business outcomes
