About The Position

The Russ Darrow Group is seeking a motivated and hands-on Sales Traffic Accelerator & Trainer to support dealership sales teams and drive consistent lead management performance. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in automotive sales or BDC who enjoys coaching others, improving processes, and making a direct impact on sales results. As a Sales Traffic Accelerator & Trainer, you will work directly in-store with Sales Associates and Managers to improve lead response, customer communication, and follow-up execution. This is a highly interactive role focused on real-time coaching, accountability, and performance improvement. Requirements

  • 1–3+ years automotive sales, BDC, or internet sales experience
  • Strong understanding of lead handling and CRM processes
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills
  • Comfortable delivering training and providing direct feedback
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
  • Proficient with CRM systems and communication tools

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-store, hands-on coaching to sales staff on lead handling, follow-up, and customer communication
  • Train and support Sales Associates on best practices for phone, text, email, and video interactions
  • Monitor incoming leads and ensure timely, professional responses across all communication channels
  • Assist sales teams with appointment setting, follow-up strategies, and pipeline management
  • Reinforce consistent CRM usage, including accurate lead tracking, task completion, and activity management
  • Conduct call and communication audits to evaluate quality and effectiveness
  • Provide direct, constructive feedback to improve performance and customer experience
  • Identify missed opportunities and coach team members on corrective actions in real time
  • Support onboarding and training of new hires on CRM processes and lead management expectations
  • Partner with Sales Managers and leadership to address performance gaps and improve execution
  • Track key performance indicators such as response times, appointment rates, and follow-up consistency
  • Assist with maintaining clean and accurate CRM data, including lead updates and overdue tasks
  • Support implementation of training initiatives and process improvements
