About The Position

This field-based sales role drives growth for Chemelex’s Tracer and Raychem solutions across Mississippi, with frequent customer engagement and travel. You’ll build relationships with industrial owners, engineering firms, and OEMs; drive specifications; and secure new projects and services. Working closely with internal teams, you’ll manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and site visits to strategy and closing while maintaining accurate forecasts and protecting margin. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field preferred.
  • 10+ years of technical sales experience, ideally in industrial markets, including heat tracing, I&E, or soft-craft contractor sectors.
  • Proven track record of sales excellence with solution-selling skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to conduct job walk-downs in industrial facilities.
  • Experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM) and Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated with strong personal accountability; able to independently build and execute a productive schedule.
  • Ability to present and influence views clearly and persuasively to a technical audience.
  • Willing and able to travel across the Mississippi territory.

Responsibilities

  • Drive specifications and sales of Chemelex Tracer and Raychem products and services with industrial customers, engineering firms, contractors, and OEMs.
  • Prospect opportunities, build relationships, and secure projects involving engineering, product supply, and construction services.
  • Conduct regular on-site customer visits, sell tailored solutions, and defend existing business against competitors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams- including engineering, project management, and construction, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Track opportunities and maintain high-quality Salesforce data to support forecasting and project strategy.
  • Protect and grow margin through disciplined pricing and strategic account management.
  • Travel as needed within the Mississippi territory and occasionally outside the region.
  • Participate in training and development programs to maintain product and process expertise.
