Join us, and be part of something bigger. This Sales Support Specialist will work with the Outside Sales Representative Team to ensure that client needs are addressed accurately and efficiently. This position will help support multiple client sites and handle a wide variety of questions while ensuring a world-class customer experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Sales Support & motivated to work with a customer centric team in an innovative company. This position is supporting Labcorp’s Mid-America Division . The selected candidate must reside in Omaha, NE near a client's facility. Responsibilities Act as a liaison between physician offices, Sales Representatives, and other internal laboratory departments. Point person for new account requests, pricing requests, billing inquiries, connectivity needs. Participate in campaigns and special projects as needed. Ability to structure issues and problem solve in a rapidly changing environment. Inquire, clarify, and confirm customer requirements and understanding of the solution. Work in multiple databases to research complex issues, answer questions, and assist in finding a resolution. Participate in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance. Ensure compliance with company policies (redraws)and laboratory procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of related business experience and relevant work experience.
  • Previous experience in a customer service capacity; must be courteous with a customer centric orientation.
  • Demonstrated ability to capture information, identify issues, and determine when escalation is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent ability to listen and respond.
  • Able to work within the hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. M-F

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Prior healthcare industry, such as a physician's office, lab and/or hospital setting is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Labcorp’s processes and systems (LCLS, LCBS, Salesforce, eAssist, etc) highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Active understanding of operational processes at various levels of the organization, including lab, branch, billing, etc.
  • Ability to manage and adapt to changing priorities quickly
