About The Position

Aegis General Insurance Agency Inc. (AGIA) travel insurance division, is seeking a full-time, enthusiastic & energetic Sales Support Specialist to join its call center team in Miami, FL. This position is offering the opportunity to work from home. The Sales Support Specialist position incorporates responsibilities in the areas of Sales, Service and Claims. Requirements

A minimum of 1-2 years of Call Center experience.
A minimum of 1-2 years of Customer Service experience.
Excellent verbal & written skills
Strong MS Office software skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience acquired in an insurance company or insurance agency is a big plus.
Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
General travel knowledge from personal or professional experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Confer with travel agents and customers by telephone or electronically to provide accurate information about products and services.
Assist clients with opening a claim.
Provide advice to concert, event, and festival attendees on their best course of action.
Answer questions about completing claim forms and collecting backup documentation.
Manage claims status checks.
Primary Sales Support representative for major account calls and emails.
Work to the greatest of their ability to convert call center sales opportunities while following up as instructed on unconverted leads.
Respond to general emails and voicemails.
Special issuance of key partner policies.
Take orders to change or cancel/refund policies.
Assist in defusing service issue or complaint situations and escalate major ones to management.
Other tasks as directed by management.
Cover weekend shifts or extended hours as necessary.
