About The Position

The Sales Support Specialist administers the onboarding process for new dealer and manufacturer credit line requests. This role involves contacting prospects to obtain necessary information and guiding them through the entire onboarding cycle, from application to activation. Key aspects include understanding applicant organizational structures, filing UCCs, and managing system-generated loan documentation. The Specialist is responsible for ensuring a positive applicant/customer experience and maintaining data accuracy within HNB-Inventory Finance's system of record. Duties also include validating account data, ensuring compliance with HNB-IF policies, qualifying new prospects, tracking pipeline activity, expanding product knowledge, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ Degree in business, finance or related degree
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer facing position or 3+ years of experience in banking or finance.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, organized and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while staying focused with minimal supervision.

  • Working knowledge of Credit basics.

Responsibilities

  • Contact prospects in accordance with daily/weekly/monthly targets.
  • Validate and input account data within the system of record (Inventory Engine) to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure prospect applications and submitted application requirements are in accordance with HNB-IF Legal, Compliance, and Credit policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Obtain information to qualify new prospects including products and brands carried and distributors purchased from.
  • Lead qualified prospects assigned to you through the customer onboarding process from application to activation which includes understanding applicant organizational structure, filing UCCs and administering system generated loan documentation.
  • Maintain tracking, reporting, and forecasting of active pipeline.
  • Actively expand and maintain product and brand knowledge.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Other onboarding related tasks, responsibilities and special projects as needed.
