About The Position

The Federal ISR Support Contractor is responsible for providing day-to-day operational support to Federal Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs), with a focus on quoting, order placement, and account management. This role ensures deal accuracy, compliance with federal requirements, and an excellent experience for both internal sales teams and end customers.

Responsibilities

  • Create, modify, and validate sales quotes for Federal ISRs, ensuring accuracy of configurations, pricing, and discounting.
  • Prepare supporting documentation for quotes (e.g., SOWs, product lists, BOMs, renewal quotes) as needed.
  • Submit and track pricing approvals, deal registrations, and any required exception requests.
  • Ensure quotes align with contract vehicles, standard terms, and applicable federal guidelines.
  • Convert approved quotes into accurate sales orders within designated systems.
  • Validate purchase orders against quotes (pricing, part numbers, quantities, ship-to/bill-to, tax, and terms).
  • Monitor orders through the fulfillment lifecycle, proactively identifying and resolving issues or holds.
  • Partner with internal teams (e.g., order management, finance, logistics) to resolve discrepancies and drive on-time delivery.
  • Provide timely order status updates to ISRs and, where appropriate, directly to customers or partners.
  • Maintain clean and accurate account data, including hierarchies, contacts, contract references, and installed base where applicable.
  • Assist with setting up new accounts and updating existing accounts in CRM and ordering systems.
  • Track key contract and subscription milestones (renewals, expirations, add-ons) and notify ISRs of upcoming actions.
  • Pull and distribute standard reports (pipeline, backlog, bookings, renewals, aging quotes) to support account planning.
  • Respond to ISR and customer inquiries related to quotes, orders, invoices, and documentation.
  • Follow established processes, SLAs, and controls for quoting and order entry, with a strong focus on compliance and audit readiness.
  • Identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements to increase speed and accuracy.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings, pricing policies, and tools used by the sales organization.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and data clean-up efforts as requested by sales leadership.
