Responsible for executing the sales process as interim Sales leader as assigned from business development to nurturing leads and closing the sale in order to maximize club revenue through new business and customer acquisition.

Requirements

  • Minimum three years of commissioned sales experience preferred
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time
  • Proven ability to prospect, negotiate and close new business
  • Strong prioritization, planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to utilize CRM and funnel management tools and apply them consistently to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, build opportunity pipeline, and make business decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in leading others preferred
  • Sets high goals and continuously strives for excellence
  • Effectively illustrates a compelling point of view and moves others to action
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University

Responsibilities

  • Act as interim Sales leader in the field and remotely as assigned to bridge gap during a sales vacancy
  • Responsible for the development and execution of prospecting and marketing plans for assigned product lines and clubs
  • Collaborate closely with the VP, Sales and General Manager to ensure specific club objectives are communicated and achieved
  • Schedule sales calls and business development activities to grow the pipeline with qualified leads and executes sales strategies through timely follow up and activities that produce high closing rates
  • Conduct tours of the club to qualified potential clients, coordinating with other departments to create customized experiences that increase sales
  • Establish client base of organizations, associations, social and corporate businesses through direct outside and inside sales efforts
  • Manage prospect database and pipeline including detailed notes and organization utilizing CRM system
  • Drive lead generation through cold-calling and outside business development
  • Conduct secret shops of competitors of club once assigned. Update competitive analysis with refreshed data and pricing.
  • Maintain communication with club and sales support team through weekly forecasting, business reviews and sales reporting as necessary
  • Manage, coaches, and develops sales manager/s and responsible for the team’s overall performance and daily sales activities
  • Align sales teams scheduling in the club with market demand of product lines. Responsible for managing and communicating sales team calendar and back up list of department heads with GM
  • Accurately forecast revenues and tracks bookings
