About The Position

Under the direction of the Sales Service Manager, Customer Service Representatives, also referred to as Sales Service Specialists (SSS), are responsible for the day-to-day order fulfillment process from receipt of order to invoice. This includes coordinating, processing, and reconciling product returns, and providing tracking information for orders in transit when requested. The role involves processing system-generated and manual orders in SAP, validating all data for accurate pricing, promotions, inventory availability, and correct master data. SSS monitors orders from receipt to invoice for assigned customer accounts, communicating any issues to customers, brokers, or Sunsweet Sales Directors as necessary. They respond to all inquiries and requests in a timely manner, and monitor daily reports to ensure orders are completed, released for on-time delivery, and accurately invoiced, reporting fulfillment issues to the Sales Service Manager for solution implementation. Sales Service Specialists also provide administrative support to the Sunsweet Sales team, creating data spreadsheets, pulling historical data from SAP, and providing information on production schedules and inventory levels. They are responsible for identifying problems related to order processing, delivery dates, pricing, promotion requests, and inventory shortages, and implementing solutions under the direction of the SS Manager. Additionally, SSS team members receive cross-training on all accounts and provide training on their own assignments to keep the department updated. They are responsible for the development and maintenance of customer data profiles and audit files for manual orders, and provide backup coverage for all domestic regions during team member absences.

Requirements

  • Experience processing orders in a service capacity environment involving successful interface with commercial based customers.
  • Intermediate skill level in the proficiency of using a personal computer, Word, Excel, and e-mail system.
  • Data entry with high level of accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of inventory, production and supply chain processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via verbal, written and electronic manner.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to successfully prioritize.
  • Ability to maintain and respect confidentiality of privileged information.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Requires strong time management skills.
  • Must pass post-offer, pre-employment testing, including: background check & drug screen.
  • Experience working with spreadsheets.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP experience.
  • Experience with manufacturing, logistics and/or processing facility, food or agricultural industry.
  • Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support to Sunsweet Sales team as requested, creating data spreadsheets, pulling historical data from SAP on sales or products purchased by customers and order details.
  • Providing information on production schedules, inventory levels by location and customer.
  • Following established processes to identify problems arising from order processing relating to delivery dates, pricing, promotion requests and inventory shortages.
  • Implementing solutions to resolve the identified issues upon direction of the SS Manager.
  • Providing training on their own assignments to keep the department updated on all accounts.
  • Developing and maintenance of data profiles for every customer, detailing all customer information, specific requirements, contact information and products purchased by SKU.
  • Setting up and maintaining audit files for all manual customer orders received.
  • Providing back up coverage within the department for all domestic regions as needed during Team member absences.
