This includes active participation in leading the Safety, Quality, Cost, Productivity, Profitability, and Commercial Excellence efforts of the Vulcraft/Verco Group. The Sales Service Manager will provide long term strategic planning, create focus on commercial performance while delivering near term results. Active participation and leadership in the division safety efforts. Lead, model, nurture, and advance the Nucor culture. As an engaged member of the division management team, lead, develop, and execute on the business strategies including quality, cost, productivity, profitability, and commercial excellence. Responsible for leadership and oversight of the operational functions within the Sales Service Department including staffing, throughput, scheduling, and cost management. Actively lead, mentor, and develop a high-functioning, cohesive division leadership team. Develop and implement strategies that create an Inclusive and Diverse workplace. Work closely with the Vulcraft – Verco Sales Service Manager Group to ensure alignment and execution with the VVG business strategy.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of leadership experience managing leaders and direct reports in the manufacturing or related industrial, or construction fields.
  • candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

  • Commercially focused with work experience in Sales, Sales Service, Finance, Production or Shipping.
