About The Position
At Mutual of Omaha Mortgage, we’re seeking experienced call center sales & service professionals to handle a high volume of outbound and inbound calls. This role emphasizes developing new opportunities through structured outreach, prospecting, and lead qualification. The ideal candidate is a fast learner with strong communication skills, able to follow scripts, adapt in the moment, and quickly build rapport. Success in this role requires thriving in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and effectively engaging customers.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a call center, sales, or customer service environment
- Excellent phone communication skills—clear, confident, and persuasive
- Basic technical proficiency, including experience with CRM systems, phone systems, and standard business tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.)
- Ability to multitask and manage time in a high-volume environment

- Background in mortgage, finance, and/or sales
Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of warm inbound calls efficiently, with a focus on servicing, prospecting, and lead qualification.
- Conduct initial contact and follow-up to identify needs and determine customer fit
- Follow scripts verbatim for products and services, applying rebuttals as needed
- Build trust-based relationships by going above and beyond in addressing early customer concerns
- Offer service support or handle simple service questions prior to transferring to a loan officer
- Consistently meet individual and team targets for lead conversion, customer service, productivity, and quality
