About The Position

The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships within the assigned territory. This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional with industry knowledge who is committed to delivering exceptional service and growing our business and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Positive, enthusiastic, and flexible attitude
  • Minimum 2 years of sales or customer service experience
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience a plus
  • Ability to perform basic Math functions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
  • Clean driving record and ability to travel within assigned region and to company events
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to the changing needs of the team
  • Strong commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and the Team Horner Value System
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

  • Pool industry experience preferred
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • Identify growth opportunities and execute strategies to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Prospect new accounts through proactive outreach and territory planning
  • Communicate product offerings, promotions, and business updates effectively
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Working knowledge of company operations including order processing, shipping and accounting
  • Participate in sales meetings and contribute strategic insights
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support account management and customer satisfaction
  • Prepare accurate sales activity and performance reports
  • Represent the company professionally at trade shows, meetings, and training events
