About The Position

As a Neurosurgical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for strategically promoting and selling Stryker NS products to meet customer needs. This involves conducting product evaluations in OR and office settings, demonstrating product value, and tracking territory progress. You will communicate wins with your Regional Manager and strive to exceed goals. Onsite with clients, you will use product knowledge to solve problems and educate doctors, nurses, and staff on proper product use and maintenance, providing excellent customer service. Stryker is a leading medical technology company focused on making healthcare better through innovative products and services in Orthopaedics, Medical and Surgical, and Neurotechnology and Spine.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in an outside sales position or Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited University with 2+ years of sales experience
  • Approximately 20% travel requirement
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive an automobile
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
  • Coordination of the eye, hand and foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand
  • Ability to meet cognitive demands to include visual and auditory discrimination / memory, reading ability and memory retention
  • Exercise discretion and independence when applying professional expertise
  • Ability to manage time, projects, stress and conflict
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication
  • Ability to bring tasks through to completion with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize work and keep detailed and confidential records
  • Ability to communicate / present to large groups of people
  • Possess unwavering ethics & integrity in a competitive and demanding work environment

Nice To Haves

  • Medical device sales experience (preferred for 5+ years outside sales)
  • Med device sales experience (preferred for Bachelor's degree holders)
